Although I really love this show, I was not impressed with this week's episode. To me, the episode was too chaotic. There were too many things going on. The final member of the family transitioned to ghost status, but this was so predictable, that his death wasn't even the focus of much attention. There were struggles for babies. New residents. More violence. Lots of ghosts. It was dizzying at times. I should also note that this was the season finale - now that "seasons" only last 1/2 season on many stations.

Query: If a ghost can father a child, why can't a ghost have a baby?

I'm surprised how enaged I became after the pilot episode. Yes, it can be tough to follow at times and has moments where a particular scene seems "off" or implausible. But I love how the series gets the viewer to actually "feel" the expereince rather than spelling out what you're suppose to feel. And I am amazed how each character can be both dark and still elicit empathy. The show is scary, horrifying and tender. Wow.

It's one of the few series that made me want to see every episode (some times twice). There's enough subtle content to make the second viewing worth it to pick up the clue you missed the first time around.

It takes some work and attention, but I think it is worth it. It takes some work and attention, but I think it is worth it. IF you like this genre, it is great TV.

The theme for this series is addicting but unfortunately unoriginal. It plays upon people's same-old same-old fears without really provoking anything new or original. Yes I will admit I lost sleep watching this series, I can clearly point out the unoriginal ties to the old "sex sells", "rosemary's baby", frankenstein, psychos, walking dead, living ghosts, GORE that has been filling our horror movie screens for years and years. Although this series has some good acting and is engaging, it still lacks that ORIGINALITY which is why I couldn't rate it any higher than I did. That and paying $2 an episode sucks cuz I'm a cheapskate I guess. Gotta give it up for Jessica Lange; she can really freaking act! So I admit, I do want to see season 2 but I am really hoping it won't be quite as random or quick moving as this last episode of season 1.

I admit I've seen the first Planet of the Apes and loved it! But I hated the other sequels! But when I saw the previews for this movie my thoughts were, "Jeez another one?" But when my grandparents and I actually went to the movies and saw the movie for ourselves, we loved it. Its a stand alone movie and its NOT a cheesy sequel to the original and its not a remake. It has a lot of action. Of course James Franco who was in the movie was extremly handsome too! LOL! And the special effects were awesome. It also tells how the chimpanzees get smarter. By the end of the movie everyone including me in the audience were clapping. I don't want to give away too much. Whether your a fan of the original Planet of the Apes or even if you haven't seen the original Planet of the Apes you will love this movie.

For a movie whose trailer seemed fake at first glance (a serious drama about a superintelligent ape and his issues?), RotPotA (rot-POT-uh) does an incredible job getting you invested in the plight of a chimp. Low budget for a summer blockbuster, this ninety million dollar film focuses on the rise of Caesar, first of his species and leader of the apes. We watch as he grows up, casts off his human friendships, and eventually leads a revolt in the hopes of achieving freedom for his people, err, his fellow apes.

Whether or not you're going to like this movie boils down to one thing: can you buy into it? Can you lay your hard-earned money on the line and accept Caesar as a fully human character with hopes and fears? Since the actual humans are sort of irrelevant and the apes are incapable of speech, there's not a lot to go on. Basically, if you liked the first 40 minutes of Wall-E, then you'll probably be fine. He tests his experiments on apes, and thinks that he has finally found what he is looking for. When one dies during the test he is left to take care of her baby. When he takes the little ape home he begins to notice things that aren't normal. This is another movie that exploded in the theaters and I waited to see it till just the other day. What I have noticed lately is that the longer you wait to see a movie this popular it never lives up to what you expect. When everyone says how good the movie is and it's the best movie they have seen your expectations are too high and it always disappoints. This is the exception. If you liked the first one, then you will probably like this sequel. Same premise, same type of humor, and same wackiness.

One of the funnier movies this year.

LOL - I find it funny that all these reviewers are giving it 1 star because they are getting the UV Digital Copy along with the Blu Ray or DVD. That is really skewing the reviews for this. Doesn't make sense to me. Are you reviewing the movie, the Blu Ray, or just the UV digital copy? If "just the UV", are you giving the entire product package a fair review? Matter of fact, have most of you one-star reviewers even seen the movie? You definitely haven't seen the blu ray since most of your reviews are dated before the release.

Anyways, please ignore all the 1 star reviews related to the UV copy. IMO, these reviewers are not using the rating system appropriately. I understand they want to make a statement because they dislike the UV copies.

Though he's hated by Lauren's father's (Nirut Sirijanya), Stu is adored by her brother Teddy (Mason Lee), so he includes him in their partying plans in Bangkok (much to Alan's chagrin.) Well, once again the boys party to hard, and once again they lose another member of the party (though it's not Doug this time, as he spends most of the movie hanging out at the resort being the boring married guy.) This is a review strictly for what is now being classified as including an "Ultraviolet Digital Copy" instead of a Digital Copy you can copy to iTunes or WMV and watch on an iPad or other portable device.

As with Horrible Bosses and Green Lantern, this USELESS Ultraviolet Digital copy MUST be streamed while using Flixster and requiring you to download ANOTHER movie viewer. If you have a data plan on an iPad or smartphone, you will reach your capacity simply by viewing this movie. Why did Warner Bros. make this change after offering an ACTUAL Digital Copy with previous releases? I for one will be refusing to purchase ANY releases that include an Ultraviolet Digital Copy as they are completely useless. I was really looking forward to purchasing this movie but will now go with a single-disc edition (if available) or not buy it at all.

Give us back the regular Digital Copy, WB!!!!
